TRIPMASTER

The TripMaster is versatile and can be used with Hydraulic, Pneumatic, or Manual Tongs. It provides a cost-effective way to ensure that the desired torque is applied to various types of connections, such as Casing, Tubing, Drill Pipe, Drill Collar, or Sucker Rods.

Here's a breakdown of its key features:

  • The TripMaster measures torque by sampling readings from an in-line load cell, compression load cell, or load pins at an impressive rate of 7,200 samples per second.
  • Once a preset torque value is reached, it activates a hydraulic or pneumatic dump valve with a rapid response time of just 35 milliseconds.
  • You can mount the TripMaster either on the tong itself or at the driller's console. It can be operated by the tong operator or the driller.
  • The TripMaster provides real-time displays of the torque applied to the connection. Additionally, it has the capability to store data for over 1000 connections.
  • You can generate reports directly from the TripMaster or download the data to a Windows computer for further analysis and reporting.
